Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That the Executive Council express its appreciation for the following Young Adult Service Corps appointments made on behalf of the Presiding Bishop in recent months:

Mr. Frederick Addy – Diocese of Dallas – assigned as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of Costa Rica. His appointment started on August 25, 2014.

Mr. Joseph Anderson – Diocese of Massachusetts and Missouri – assigned as a YASC Volunteer at the Asian Rural Institute (ARI) in the Nippon Sei Ko Kai, Japan. His appointment will begin on October 16, 2014.

Kristina Boe – Diocese of Olympia – second year as a YASC Volunteer, and a new assignment in the Diocese of Rio de Janeiro, Anglican Episcopal Church of Brazil. This appointment started on March 17, 2014.

Mr. William Bryant – Diocese of Western North Carolina – second year as a YASC Volunteer, and a new assignment at St. Paul’s Within the Walls, in the Convocation of Churches in Europe. This appointment will begin on September 12, 2014.

Mr. Paul Daniels – Diocese of North Carolina – second year as a YASC Volunteer at the Cathedral Church of St. Michael and St. George in the Diocese of Grahamstown, Church of the Province of Southern Africa. His appointment started on August 22, 2014.

Mr. Justin Davis – Diocese of Virginia – assigned as a YASC Volunteer with the Mission to Seafarers in the Diocese of Western Kowloon, Hong Kong. His appointment began on August 25, 2014.

Ms. Elizabeth Duque – Diocese of Colombia – assigned as a YASC Volunteer with Agape Care and Counseling in the Diocese of Maseno West, Kenya. Her assignment will begin on September 27, 2014.

Mr. Maurice Dyer – Diocese of El Camino Real – second year as a YASC Volunteer, and a new assignment with the Institute for Healing of Memories in the Diocese of Cape Town, Church of the Province of Southern Africa. The appointment will begin on October 7, 2014.

Ms. Carolyn Hockey – Diocese of Ohio - assigned as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of Bujumbura, Province of the Anglican Church of Burundi. Her appointment started on August 18, 2014.

Mr. David Holton – Diocese of New York – assigned as a YASC Volunteer at Easter College in Baguio City in the Diocese of North Central Philippines. His appointment will begin on September 15, 2014.

Ms. Kirsten Lowell – Diocese of Maine – assigned as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of Uruguay. Her assignment will begin on October 2, 2014.

Mr. William Lutes – Diocese of South Dakota – assigned as a YASC Volunteer with the Anglican Church of Southern Africa Environmental Network and Anglican Communion Environmental Network in Cape Town, Church of the Province of Southern Africa. His appointment will begin on September 16, 2014.

Ms. Kayla Massey - Diocese of Upper South Carolina – assigned as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of North Central Philippines. Her appointment started on August 14, 2014.

Ms. Rachel McDaniel – Diocese of West Tennessee – assigned as a YASC Volunteer with Women’s and Children’s Ministries in the Diocese of Southwestern Brazil. Her appointment will begin as soon as her visa is approved.

Ms. Delaney Ozmun – Diocese of Olympia – assigned as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of Eldoret in the Anglican Church of Kenya. Her appointment started on August 12, 2014.

Ms. Hannah Perls – Diocese of Olympia – second year assignment as a YASC Volunteer at Fundación Cristosal, in the Diocese of El Salvador. Her appointment will begin on October 20, 2014.

Ms. Carlin Van Schaik – Diocese of Northwest Texas – second year assignment as a YASC Volunteer and a new appointment in the Episcopal Church in the Philippines. Her appointment will begin in October, 2014.

Mr. Perry Alan Yarborough - Dioceses of Western North Carolina and Upper South Carolina – second year assignment as a YASC Volunteer in the Diocese of Haiti. His appointment will begin on October 7, 2014.

Mr. Ryan Zavacky – Diocese of Eastern Michigan – assigned as a YASC Volunteer at Mariya uMama weThemba Monastery with the Brothers of the Holy Cross in the Diocese of Grahamstown, Church of the Province of Southern Africa. His appointment started on August 31, 2014.
