Resolves of the Executive Council

Whereas, For the last 20 years Jeannie Willis has been an integral part of the World Mission of the Episcopal Church, first as editor of The Episcopalian and later as a member of the staff of the Episcopal Church Center; and

Whereas, Through Jeannie's photographs and stories we have been able to see the overseas work of the Church in clearer focus, enabling us to "experience" the Anglican Communion in a unique way; and

Whereas, Jeannie's remarks about World Mission have made us more aware of our worldwide responsibilities and belonging to our human family regardless of culture, language or social condition; and

Whereas, Jeannie has retired from active work at the Episcopal Church Center; therefore be it
