Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That the Executive Council joins the House of Bishops in commending the Anglican Church in Fiji for its great courage, virtually alone among the churches there, in speaking out in support of a pluralistic, multi-ethnic democracy; and be it further

Resolved, That this Council expresses its solidarity with the Rt. Rev. Jabez Bryce and the people of the Diocese of Polynesia in their ministry of reconciliation among the diverse ethnic groups in the nation of Fiji, assuring them of its prayers and support; and be it further

Resolved, That the Secretary of this Council send copies of this resolution with our warm greetings to the Rt. Rev. Jabez Bryce, Bishop of Polynesia.
