Resolves of the Executive Council

Resolved, That the Executive Council affirm the accomplishments of the 1989 World Mission Consultation, and encourage the participants and all other Episcopal mission organizations to support the covenants on partnership and other issues, work toward fulfillment of the goals set forth in the various action plans, and take the Call to Mission to heart; and be it further

Resolved, That the Executive Council ratify the five mission covenant statements and that the appropriate members of the Presiding Bishop's staff continue their efforts to bring about cooperation in the overall mission of the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion, so that as we enter the Decade of Evangelism all Episcopalians may go forth into the world with a vision of their certain calling to confident witness.
