Resolved, That the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church at its meeting November 12-15, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois, request the Presiding Bishop and the President of the House of Deputies, to appoint a working group to investigate, through conversations and cooperation with the Anglican Church of Canada, the Concilio Anglicano Latino Americano (CALA Anglican Council of Latin America) and the Province of the West Indies, the possibilities of an Anglican regional convocation of the Americas to equip better our churches for mutuality and interdependence in God’s mission. |
