The Rt. Rev. Rogers Harris, retired Bishop of Southwest Florida, has accepted a call to be the assisting bishop in the Diocese of Lexington until May 2000. Bishop Harris will oversee the diocese until a new bishop is elected. The Rt. Rev. Don A. Wimberly resigned as Bishop of Lexington to become diocesan missioner for the Diocese of Texas.
