The Rev. Orris Walker, chairman of the Episcopal
Commission for Black Ministries, presents braille typewriters and
wheelchairs to Sr. Joan Margaret, founder and director of St. Vincent's
School for the Handicapped in Haiti, while commission members look on.
The panel held its fall meeting in Haiti in an effort to strengthen ties
between black Episcopalians in the U.S. and those overseas.
