Presiding Bishop Edmond L. Browning delivers his
message from the chair at the Executive Council meeting held June 16-19
at the Bond Court Hotel in Cleveland. The address, calling for
those involved in evangelism and those involved in social action to
recognize the oneness of their ministry to the Servant Lord, set the
tone for a meeting in which Council pondered the direction the Church
will take over the next triennium.
