2. The Rev. Onell A. Soto, Episcopal priest in charge of Anglican work in Quito, Ecuador, was the first non-Roman clergyman to address the Ecuadorian Philosophical Society. He was invited to give lecture on "St. Paul's concept of religious freedom" as part of a series of lectures on religious liberty. These lectures were held at the City Hall Auditorium and broadcast throughout the country by four radio stations. From left to right in the photo are Father Soto, the Rev. Enrique Almeida, O.
