About 125 clergy and lay persons from the U.S. and Canada attended the first national conference of Asian American Episcopalians in San Francisco in February. Shown in a plenary session are some of the Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Korean and non-Asians sharing their mutual concerns for the development of this new ministry, which was established by the General Convention in Louisville, Ky., in the fall of 1973.
