Dr. Peter Day, right, Ecumenical Officer of the Episcopal Church, announced the inauguration of the Scaife-Anderson Fund at a dinner recently in New York City. The scholarship fund will enable young people in the U.S. to study and work in the interest of strengthening relationships between Eastern and Western Christians. Among those present and speaking at the dinner were, from l. to r.: The Most Reverend Archbishop Iakovos, primate of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America; Dr. Paul B. Anderson, the honoree; The Right Reverend John M. Allin, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church; and Dr. Day.
