The Diocese of West Texas laid on an afternoon of
old fashioned Texas hospitality for Episcopal Church bishops and their
guests during the 1986 Interim Meeting of the House of Bishops at San
Antonio Sept. 20-25. The tour, "A Taste of Texas," included an ancient
mission, the Diocesan House and the Texas Culture Museum. Here, Bishop
Christoph Keller, retired Bishop of Arkansas, and others receive gifts
of a peso on a neck ribbon presented to the visitors at the Diocesan
compound.
