The Rev. Onell Soto, executive secretary of the Ninth Province of the Episcopal Church, headed a provincial team who organized a food shuttle between El Salvador and Nicaragua to aid the victims of the earthquake which destroyed the capital city of Managua on December 23. Father Soto is standing beside a minibus at the border between El Salvador and Honduras after taking a supply of food from San Salvador to Managua, some 200 miles away. The Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief and Interchurch Aid is seeking to raise $100, 000 for emergency relief.
