The second Anglican Consultative Council, composed of approximately 60 bishops, priests and lay persons, and representing 47 million baptized persons from 26 independent and autonomous Anglican churches from around the world, met in Dublin, July 17 -27. Mrs. Marion Kelleran, recently retired professor at Virginia Theological Seminary, was elected chairperson of the Council. Other Episcopal delegates were Presiding Bishop John E. Hines, and the Rev. W. G. Henson Jacobs, Brooklyn, N.Y.
