6 Located on the 8th floor of the Episcopal Church Center is the Emery Room. It is adjacent to the Overseas Department, near the offices of the General Division of Women's Work, and it has a small serving pantry. The room is named for Miss Julia Emery, secretary for the Women's Auxiliary from 1876 to 1916. A similar room was established in 1923 in Church Missions House and the new one will continue the tradition of having a place to welcome missionaries on furlough and other visitors. It can be used for small teas or receptions.
