Bishop who brought presentment attends Bishop Righter hearing.
Bishop James Stanton of the Diocese of Dallas fields press questions during a one-day hearing in Wilmington, Delaware,
February 27, on whether the Episcopal Church holds a doctrine against the ordination of non-celibate homosexuals. Stanton is
one of 10 bishops who brought a presentment charging Bishop Walter Righter with holding false doctrine and violating his
ordination vows for ordaining a non-celibate homosexual as a deacon in 1990 and signing documents supporting such ordinations.
