COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION STATEMENT AVAILABLE

A statement on the Church and Community Organization has recently been prepared by the staff of Executive Council's Department of Christian Social Relations and Home Department.

The statement is concerned with ways local churches have become involved in community organization; differing theories of community organization; and the manner in which a diocese should decide upon such involvement and prepare for it.

Copies of the statement are available from the Division of Community Service of the Department of Christian Social Relations, Episcopal Church Center, 815 Second Ave., New York, N. Y. 10017.
