William Lewis Appointed Member Laymen's Division

Presiding Bishop Hines has announced the appointment of William C. Lewis of Wilmington, Del. as a member-at-large of the General Division of Laymen's Work of the Executive Council.
Mr. Lewis is a native of Wilmington. He received his education at Morgan State College in Baltimore, Md., at the University of Pennsylvania and the Drexel Institute in Philadelphia, Pa.
He has been a teacher in the Wilmington Public School System and at the Ferris School for Boys, State of Delaware, and has worked for the Wilmington Department of Health.
He is presently a member of the Wilmington Board of Education and of the Delaware State School Board Association. He is a vestryman of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Wilmington and was a representative to the North American Conference on the Ministry of the Laity in the World held in Chicago.
He is married to the former Lennie Frisby and they have three children.
