A Time for Risk

Diocesan Press Service. February 3, 1967 [51-9]

"A Time for Risk", a new 30 minute color film produced by the Executive Council, portrays vividly the problems facing the nations of Latin America, all of which share, to one degree or another, the crushing burdens of too many people, too little land, too little education and urbanization.

The story of the often revolutionary spirit of Christianity in this part of the world is told effectively. The scenes are in vivid color and the Latin American music forms an appropriate background.

The film asks questions and demands answers.

"A Time for Risk" may be rented for $10 from the Audio-Visual Film Library, Episcopal Church Center, 815 Second Avenue, New York, N. Y. 10017, or the West Coast Branch, 2451 Ridge Road, Berkeley, California 94709. Included is a utilization guide designed to involve the audience in discussion.
