Hospitality for Expo Visitors
Diocesan Press Service. May 5, 1967 [54-5]
"You'll find a welcome at Anglican House." That might well be the motto of the Hospitality-Information Center set up by the Diocese of Montreal.
Every day during Expo '67 the Center will be open from 9 a. m. to 9 p. m. to provide hospitality, information and counselling to the thousands of visitors to Montreal.
If you're having trouble finding inexpensive meals, if your hotel accommodations have run out and an emergency keeps you in Montreal, or if you just want to talk, visit the Center at Anglican House, 1444 Union Avenue, Montreal (514-845-5217).
The Center, located on the 2nd floor of Anglican House, is furnished with comfortable chairs, reading material, and refreshments (coffee, cold drinks, and sandwiches). Hostesses from parishes throughout the Diocese will be on hand to give assistance and Mrs. Jean Grout, director of the Center, will be glad to supply answers to specific questions.
Clergy of the Diocese will be available for counselling at the Expo Church, Christ Church Cathedral, to all in need of such.
If you want information on churches, services, etc. the Diocese will provide this, along with a map showing points of interest on the approaches to Montreal. Write to the Center now so that you can make plans in advance, and visit the Center while in Montreal.
