Bishop Lewis to be Heard in Series over Armed Forces Radio

The Rt. Rev. Arnold M. Lewis, Suffragan Bishop for the Armed Forces, will begin a series of broadcasts to the Armed Forces overseas in January.
The five minute feature programs will be carried over Armed Forces Radio and will reach service men and women all over the world. The Armed Forces Radio Network broadcasts eight hours of news, sports and feature material each day, but is on the air 24 hours a day as its short wave transmitters are changed every eight hours so that all parts of the world are covered.
The program will be produced in cooperation with the Executive Council's Division of Radio and Television. The Division is also producing a 15 minute special radio program featuring Bishop Lewis which will be heard over Armed Forces Radio on Christmas day.
