JOSEPH MOORE ACCEPTS COLLEGE POST
The resignation of the Rev. Joseph Moore, PhD, as planning officer for the Ninth Province was announced recently by the Rt. Rev. Stephen F. Bayne, Director of the Overseas Department.
Dr. Moore has accepted a position as Professor of Anthropology and Chairman of the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at Massachusetts State College, Bridgewater, Mass. as of Feb. 1. Dr. Moore has indicated, however, that he may be available as a consultant for special projects to the Executive Council, according to Bishop Bayne.
Dr. Moore was the first director of the Council's General Division of Research and Field Studies. For a brief time he turned his talents to the position of Executive Officer of the Strategic Advisory Committee. Shortly after Bishop Bayne succeeded to the position of director of the Overseas Department, Dr. Moore assumed his present position as planning officer of the Ninth Province.
MRS. BINGLEY TO DEPARTMENT OF CHRISTIAN SOCIAL RELATIONS.
Mrs. Howard O. Bingley, formerly associate secretary for Supply Work in the General Division of Women's Work, has been appointed Associate Secretary in the Department of Christian Social Relations for Liaison with the General Division of Women's Work.
Mrs. Bingley's responsibilities will include keeping Episcopal Church Women diocesan Christian Social Relations chairmen informed of what is happening in this area. As a member of the Department of Christian Social Relations she also has particular responsibilities in the areas of publications and conferences.
