Unity Trends Now Available

Unity Trends, a bi-monthly review of ecumenical news and developments, made its first appearance in late November.

The new publication is an amalgamation of Faith and Order Trends, published by the Department of Faith and Order of the National Council of Churches and Direction: Unity, published by the Bureau of Information of the U. S. (Roman) Catholic Conference in cooperation with the Bishops' Committee for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs. Unity Trends is published by Our Sunday Visitor, Inc. , Roman Catholic publishing house, and edited by the Department of Faith and Order in consultation with the Bishops' Committee.

In its first Issue, Unity Trends reported on the meeting of the World Council of Churches' Faith and Order Commission in Bristol, England under the direction of the Rt. Rev. Oliver Tomkins, Anglican Bishop of Bristol; and the National Faith and Order Colloquium held at Notre Dame University, South Bend, Ind.

Also featured was a report on the ecumenical actions of the Episcopal Church's General Convention in Seattle.
