PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (DPS) -- An agreement to publish a quarterly journal for church educators for at least two years has been reached by three of the six denominations which form Joint Educational Development (JED).
The Presbyterian Church, U.S. (Southern), the Episcopal Church and the United Church of Christ will sponsor "SHARE: A Paper for Teachers and Leaders." It will be published in Philadelphia. Some issues will have denominational supplements.
Mrs. Robert Koenig will edit SHARE, which will have a tabloid newspaper format.
SHARE is now officially sponsored by JED, although only three of the denominations are involved in its publication. A pilot issue was distributed in August, 1971.
Other member denominations of JED are the Disciples of Christ, the Reformed Church in America and the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A.
SHARE, which is described as " a quarterly exchange of Christian education ideas, programs, resources, and concerns," is designed primarily for non- professional Christian educators in the local church and secondarily for professional educators.
The subscription rate for Episcopalians is $2.00 per year for four issues. Checks should be made payable to Division of Publication and subscription orders should be sent to:
