Henry Noble Elected President of Episcopal Church Foundation

NEW YORK, N. Y. -- Henry S. Noble, a partner in the New York Stock Exchange firm of Carlisle DeCoppet & Co., was elected president of The Episcopal Church Foundation at the annual meeting of the board of directors here. He succeeds William A. Coolidge, who was elected vice chairman of the board.
The Foundation is a national organization of Episcopal laymen that initiates and underwrites projects in support of the work of the Church.
Mr. Noble, who has been a director of the Foundation since 1965, is also on the board of Union Theological Seminary, a trustee of Seabury House in Greenwich, and a trustee and treasurer of Kent School, from which he graduated. He is a trustee of Stamford Hospital, and the Donations and Bequests for Church Purposes organization of the Diocese of Connecticut, and is a former warden and vestryman of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in New Canaan.
He is a 1938 graduate of Yale University. He and Mrs. Noble live in New Canaan.
