Black Radio Spots Released

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Four denominations have joined to produce a series. of four Black radio spot announcements on the theme, "Get With God And Each Other."

Produced by the Black-owned Marshal Advertising Agency, Chicago, Ill., the four 30-second spots were released to some 2,000 radio stations across the country on March 1.

The spots were produced for the Episcopal Church, the Christian Church/Disciples, the Mennonite Church, and the United Methodist Church.

The four spots are entitled: "We All Depend On Something," "Ramsey Lewis I Family Power," "I Want To Be Free -- To Be Me," and "What Is A Family?"

The spots emphasize inner strength for Blacks, with special attention to self-identity and the Christian faith. Blacks are featured speaking to Blacks under the sponsorship of Black church persons in cooperation with their church colleagues. The spots are aimed at an audience of 18 to 34 year old Blacks, both single and married, who face survival in the 1970's in the urban and metropolitan areas of the U.S.
