DENVER, Colo. -- What is the central purpose of the Episcopal Church's ministry in colleges and universities ? What do students really want from the church? What kind of ministry would the faculty find most useful to them?

These are some of the questions to which college and university students, faculty, staff and chaplains will address themselves in a conference in Denver, April 21-23, at the Colorado Women's College.

The conference, which is sponsored by the Episcopal Society for Ministry in Higher Education with a grant from the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church, will seek to produce a synthesis of the direction which the Church's higher education ministry will follow.

The participants will work in small groups of clergy, students, faculty/staff to develop the skills and models necessary to carry out an effective ministry.

The planning committee suggests that the conference will be the most valuable to those who attend in groups of students/faculty/staff/clergy from the various schools.

Executive Council funds will provide limited travel reimbursement. The conference will pay up to one half of the coach air fare and reimbursement to those traveling by automobile will he pro-rated on the basis of the number traveling in each vehicle.

The registration fee is $20 per person. Registrations and requests for information should be sent to the Rev. George Quarterman, 110 South Ninth Street, Laramie, Wyo. 82070.
