CBS News Looks at Jacksonville Episcopal High School

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The CBS Television Network will carry nationwide a one half hour documentary on the work of the Jacksonville Episcopal High School, Jacksonville, Fla., on Sunday, May 19. The program will be part of the LAMP UNTO MY FEET series and will be broadcast at 10:00 A.M. Eastern time. (Check papers for local time.)
The Jacksonville Episcopal High School, which was founded in 1966, has been involved in a concerted effort to synthesize religious and secular learning on every level.
In depth interviews are conducted with the trustees, headmaster, students, faculty, parents and community leaders. One of the highlights of the program includes the student worship committee planning and executing a worship service.
Horton C. Reed is the Headmaster of the Jacksonville Episcopal High School, the Very Rev. Frank S. Cerveny, Dean of St. John's Cathedral, Jacksonville, and Bishop Coadjutor-elect of the Diocese of Florida, is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Rev. Robert Ray Parks, D.D., presently rector of Trinity Parish in the City of New York, was the first Chairman of the Board.
