NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Seabury Press has announced the publication of THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH WELCOMES YOU, An Introduction to its History, Worship and Mission.
Authors of the book are the editor of the Trinity Parish Newsletter, the Rev. William B. Gray, and his wife, Betty, who edits the Episcopal New Yorker, the official publication of the Diocese of New York.
The Grays' book was written as a guide to the Church for persons who are interested in confirmation or being received into the Church, or for members who would like a brief overview.
The Rt. Rev. John M. Allin, Presiding Bishop, wrote the introduction, and the Rev. Clement Welsh, Warden of the College of Preachers, the preface. It is dedicated to John E. Hines, retired Presiding Bishop.
