Women of Faith' Radio Series Planned

NEW YORK, N. Y. -- Women from the past whose lives continue to speak to today's search for freedom and justice will be featured in an up-coming five-minute radio drama series currently in production, sponsored by six church groups, including the Episcopal Church.
The 50-week series, "Women of Faith," which will begin this fall, will highlight the lives of women who dared to act on their beliefs and were willing to suffer the dire consequences that sometimes followed.
The projected release of the series from the fall of 1975 through the summer of 1976 will span the International Women's Year designated by the United Nations, and the U.S. Bicentennial.
In addition to the Episcopal Church, sponsors of the radio drama series include the Christian Church (Disciples), the Presbyterian Church in the U.S., the United Methodist Church, the United Presbyterian Church in the U.S.A., and Church Women United.
