This packet of material is a report on the Episcopal Church's 1975 House of Bishops meeting in Portland, Maine, September 19 -26. In attendance were 148 of the 222 voting members of the House (9 resigned bishops have no vote).

The enclosed release # 75330 is a rather full account of the actions of the House during its week-long meeting. Editors of publications will need to be selective in the use of the material. Two photographs are enclosed for the Diocesan Press Service only.
