Booklets on Bicentennial to be Published

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- The publication of a special series of booklets on the Episcopal Church's observance of the bicentennial of the nation has been announced.
Sponsored by the Church's Committee on the Observance of the Bicentennial of the Nation, the 12-title series is on the theme, "Episcopal Churches in a Revolutionary Era." Dr. C. Fitzsimons Allison, New York City, is editor.
The first title in the series, A Tour of Colonial Churches, by Priscilla C. Martin, has just been published. The remaining booklets in the series, which will all be available by December 31, 1975, are: Church Women: From Colonial Times to the Present, by Marianne H. Micks; The Episcopal Church and the American Revolution, by David Holmes ; Colonial Church Life, by Nelson R. Burr; The Rejection of Denominational Idolatries, by Thomas P. Govan; Struggle, Strife, and Salvation: The Role of Blacks in the Episcopal Church, by J. Carleton Hayden; Anglicans in America, by Samuel M. Garrett; Stewardship of the Gospel, by C. Fitzsimons Allison; Ecumenical Rivalry and Cooperation, by Cynthia Wedel; Frontier Church Life, by Frank Sugeno ; The Episcopal Church in Education, by Arthur Ben Chitty; and Our Declaration of Independence and the Liberating God, by William J. Wolf.
