In April, 14 alumni from the Episcopal Church's theological seminary, Bexley Hall -- a part of the Colgate Rochester Divinity School/Bexley Hall/Crozer consortium here -- participated in the Rossiter Scholar Program. The 12 male and two female graduates engaged in individual study on topics of their choosing, in dialogue with students and faculty of the three schools, and in two lectures by Roman Catholic Johannine scholar Raymond E. Brown and Yale Divinity School professor Henri Nouwen. Some of the alumni studied practical topics (such as church growth, renewal, models for lay ministry training) while others chose more academic topics such as Bonhoeffer, the Christology of John, and the theology of Charles Williams.
