TO: Episcopal Diocesan Editors Summary Issue, The Convention Daily

Episcopal News Service. July 23, 1982 [82168]

Our final issue will be 8 pages and, in addition to the general summary, photographs and highlights of the Convention, will contain a capsule summary of most of the actions taken by the Convention.

This means that the entire Church can begin thinking about, acting on and reacting to the Convention immediately, and with the facts in hand. Those who subscribe to The Convention Daily, will, of course, receive this issue along with the other eight, mailed each day, first class from New Orleans.

However, as in the past, we are offering two options to provide quantity copies of the final issue of The Convention Daily to dioc ses which may wish to include them with the diocesan publication or distribute them separately.

(1)Bundles of the final issue will be sent at $95 per thousand, with shipment via truck collect. You pay the shipping charges when the bundles arrive. These charges may be very high.
(2)Alternatively, camera-ready stats are offered at $60 per set of 8 pages, postpaid, mailed first class from New Orleans on Sept. 15. We will make every effort to have the stats available for pick-up by noon on Sept. 15, but we cannot guarantee this. These will be standard tabloid size and can be run in most of the diocesan publications.

To order, send a check or money order payable to The Convention Daily, no later than August 20 to: Walter H. Boyd, Episcopal Church Center, 815 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10017.

There is still time to subscribe to The Convention Daily. Nine issues, including this summary, will be mailed first class from New Orleans anywhere in the United States or Canada for $7.50. The deadline is August 20. (Note the extension of the deadline.) Please encourage your colleagues and friends to take advantage of this offer.
