Despite an early blizzard, Presiding Bishop John M. Allin and his wife Ann, were able to spend Thanksgiving season with Episcopal congregations in the Navajoland Area Mission. The mission is a jurisdiction of the Episcopal Church located on the Navajo Reservation in Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. The Allins left Pasadena, Calif. Nov. 20 for the visitation, but their plane was forced down in Durango, Colo. and they made the rest of the journey to Farmington, N.M.-- site of the diocesan offices -- by four-wheel drive car. Allin preached, celebrated, baptized and confirmed in the Navajo congregations and the Allins were guests at a number of banquets.
