Scouting in the Church's Ministry

NEW YORK (DPS, June 9) -- "One Body, Many Parts" is the theme for the week-long conference on Scouting in the Church's ministry to be held at the Philmont Scout Ranch Training Center near Cimarron, N. Mex., July 14-20. Each day of the conference will offer both joint sessions of common interest to all participating denominations as well as special sessions for each participating church body. The Episcopal Church sessions will be led by the Rev. Neal H. Dow.
This conference will be especially valuable for clergy and lay persons involved or interested in the Scouting program in Episcopal churches. Diocesan youth directors and parish youth leaders are especially welcome. In fact, the entire family is invited to attend the conference. Recreational opportunities will be provided for all ages.
