Peruvian Bishop Installed in Hospital

(ENS) Bishop H. William Godfrey of Lima, Peru was unable to attend his installation on Sunday, April 26, because he was undergoing surgery for the removal of a part of his small intestine, so the diocese organized an emergency installation at the hospital on Saturday evening. Several Episcopal and Anglican bishops and diocesan church leaders squeezed into Godfrey's hospital room for a service that was, according to one participant, "quite crowded and warm, but nevertheless full of a spirit of rejoicing among us."
