Liturgical Conference set Nov. 5-7

"Liturgy and Mission" is the theme for the Wichita Liturgical Conference to be held in Wichita, Kansas, November 5 - 7. This is the third conference to be sponsored by the Associated Parishes, Inc. group.
The Rev. Frederick Putnam, president of Associated Parishes, is rector of St. James' Church, Wichita, co-sponsor for the conference.
The six speakers for the meeting are the Rev. Massey H. Shepherd, Jr., professor of liturgics at The Church Divinity School of the Pacific; the Rev. Joseph T. Nolan, pastor of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Galena, Kansas; the Rev, W. Moelwyn Merchant, head of the Department of English at Exeter University in England; The Rev. William G. Pollard, PhD, executive director of the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies and priest-in-charge of St. Alban's Chapel, Clinton, Tenn.; the Rt. Rev. James A. Pike, Bishop of California; and the Rev. C. Kilmer Myers, vicar of the Chapel of Intercession, Trinity Parish, New York.
