Schools Meeting Planned

The Unit of Parish and Preparatory Schools and the Episcopal School Association will hold their second triennial gathering November 7-9 at the Sheraton- Park Hotel, Washington, D. C. School administrators, teachers, and churchmen interested in Episcopal Church schools will find the conference an opportunity to re-examine the theological basis of Church schools and their relationship to the total field of education.
The theme will be: The Church's Ministry of Reconciliation in the Field of Education. The Rev. C. FitzSimons Allison, associate professor of ecclesiastical history, The School of Theology of the University of the South, Sewanee, Tenn. will be the theme leader. Two presentations will provide the basis for discussion of the theme. They are: "A Christian Doctrine of God for the Space Age" and "A Christian Doctrine of Man for the Space Age."
Special speakers and leaders will be: The Rt. Rev. Henry I. Louttit, Bishop of South Florida; The Rev. David Hunter, director of the Department of Christian Education; The Rev. Reamer Kline, president of Bard College; Dr. Marshall Fishwick of the Wemyss Foundation; Dr. Virginia Harrington of Barnard College and Dr. Philip H. Rhinelander of Stanford University.
The Rev. Edward M. Hartwell, president of the Texas Episcopal School Association will be coordination for the convention.
