Special Events Numerous

TORONTO - The full Anglican Congress program included a number of special events for the delegates and extra affairs for the wives.
These included a Bishop's Dinner hosted by the Bishop of Toronto, a bus tour to Niagara Falls, tea in the homes of Toronto preceding the Missionary Rally, dinner for delegates in Toronto homes, a youth dinner, tickets to attend the Canadian National Exhibition grandstand show on opening night, two music festivals, dinner and attendance at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, and the Congress Dinner and reception.
Numerous tours and events were included in the schedule to introduce North America and Toronto to wives and delegates.
Another special event was a joint convocation of Trinity and Wycliffe Colleges to award honorary degrees to six bishops, including Presiding Bishop Lichtenberger.
