Diocesan Press Service. August 7, 1964 [XXIII-19]

In Hollywood during July, 26 actors and actresses spent four busy days recording 26 new radio dramas for the Episcopal Church. Robert Young, host for the series entitled "The Witness," is shown above thanking Rosemary DeCamp for her part. In the background is Bernie Hamilton, also in the cast. Using the insights and skills of laymen and clergy, the series attempts to portray how Christians witness to their faith in everyday life. Produced for National Council's Division of Radio, Television and Audio-Visuals by MarJori Hunt Pierson and directed by Thomas Freebairn-Smith, the series will be released in 1965 after another 26 programs have been taped. Theological consultants are Theodore O. Wedel, Ruel L. Howe, and Howard A. Johnson.
