PB'S FUND AIDS 4 DIOCESES

In response to several recent disasters - floods in Wisconsin, tornadoes in Minnesota, earthquakes in Washington State and El Salvador - the Presiding Bishop has sent grants of $500 each from the Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief.

These gifts were sent as "an immediate token of the concern of the whole church in the plight of Episcopalians and others" in these disaster-torn areas.

The Presiding Bishop's Fund is maintained by voluntary contributions and is used for inter-church projects, as well as for emergency aid. Contributions may be sent to the Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief, 815 Second Avenue, New York, N. Y. 10017. Checks should be made payable to Lindley M. Franklin, Jr., Treasurer, and marked for the Presiding Bishop's Fund for World Relief.
