ANDERSON APPOINTED TO NCCC GENERAL BOARD

The Rev. Jesse Anderson, Sr., of Philadelphia, was elected as an Episcopal representative to the General Board of the National Council of Churches of Christ at the May meeting of the Executive Council. He will replace the Very Rev. J. V. Butler, dean of the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, New York, who was a member of the board for 15 years.

NEW COMPANION RELATIONSHIPS

The Executive Council, at its May meeting, approved the establishment of seven new companion relationships and the continuation of two others. The Diocese of Minnesota will begin its companion relationship with New Guinea; Rhode Island with Dacca; Florida with Trinidad; Rochester with Maseno; Nebraska with Athabasca; and California and San Jose both with Matabeleland. The Dioceses of Delaware and North Carolina were given permission to continue their companion relationships with the Dominican Republic and the Panama Canal Zone respectively.

NEW NAME FOR NATIONAL TOWN AND COUNTRY CHURCH INSTITUTE

The Executive Council, at its May meeting, approved a resolution changing the name of the National Town and Country Church Institute, Roanridge, Mo., to the Roanridge Training and Conference Center of the Episcopal Church.
