Resolved, That the Diocese of Panama be granted permission to elect a Bishop Coadjutor. This will allow for a smooth transition on the retirement of the present Diocesan and expresses the will of the Diocese. No date has been set for retirement, but all provision has been made for election in keeping with the general as well as the diocesan Canons.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the Diocese of Panama be granted permission to elect a Bishop Coadjutor. This will allow for a smooth transition on the retirement of the present Diocesan and expresses the will of the Diocese. No date has been set for retirement, but all provision has been made for election in keeping with the general as well as the diocesan Canons.
Seconded by the Bishop of Albany.

On the ninth day, the Chairman of the Committee on Consecration of Bishops presented Report #3 and recommended that the House concur with Message #138 of the House of Bishops on Resolution B-40 (Bishop Coadjutor for Panama).
