Resolved, That the Presiding Bishop be authorized and requested to appoint an Advisory Committee on Heraldry of not less than three persons who have special knowledge and skills in heraldry. Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the Presiding Bishop be authorized and requested to appoint an Advisory Committee on Heraldry of not less than three persons who have special knowledge and skills in heraldry. The Committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Presiding Bishop, Diocesan Bishops and other individuals or organizations seeking advice on seals, crests and other applications of heraldry.
On the second day, the Bishop of Western Louisiana, Chairman of the Committee on Miscellaneous Resolutions, moved to be discharged from D-43 because the requested committee already exists.
Seconded by the Bishop of Minnesota.

On the third day, the Bishop of Arizona moved reconsideration of D-43 (Heraldry).
Seconded by the Bishop of Montana.
Motion to reconsider carried
The Bishop of Western Louisiana, Chairman of the Committee on Miscellaneous Resolutions, moved the adoption of D-43.
Seconded by the Bishop of Minnesota.
