Resolved, That the 68th General Convention of the Episcopal Church/USA urge the Congress of the United States to reaffirm its commitment to provide a home-buying incentive for clergy and to reassert its authority over tax policy by enacting H.R. 385 or S. 1595, currently before the 99th Congress, and also that a copy of this resolution will be sent by the Diocesan Bishops of the Episcopal Church/USA to all Members of the Congress and the Senate from the states in which they reside.

Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That the 68th General Convention of the Episcopal Church/USA, urge the Congress of the United States to reaffirm its commitment to provide a home-buying incentive for clergy and to reassert its authority over tax policy by enacting H.R. 385 or S. 1595, currently before the 99th Congress, and also that a copy of this resolution will be sent by the Diocesan Bishops of the Episcopal Church/USA to all Members of the Congress and the Senate from the states in which they reside.
Seconded by the Bishop of New Jersey.
