Resolved, That this 69th General Convention (1988) commend the Executive Council for the successful establishment of an Employee Assistance Program for staff and family members of the Church Center in response to the 1979 General Convention Resolution on Alcoholism; and be it further

Resolved, That this Convention call on dioceses, congregations and church institutions to examine their employee assistance needs and [establish] programs that appropriately respond to [the broad spectrum of individual and family] needs; and be it further

Resolved, That the Diocesan Commissions on Alcohol and Drugs, the National Episcopal Coalition on Alcohol and Drugs and other national organizations be requested to provide assistance to church institutions developing employee assistance programs.
