Resolved, That this General Convention reaffirm the commitment of this Church to theological education through the contribution of 1% of N.D.B.I. of each congregation and ask each bishop to make 1% for theological education a high priority of diocesan encouragement, education, and stewardship, so that by the 1994 General Convention all congregations of the Church are participating.

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That this General Convention reaffirm the commitment of this Church to theological education through the contribution of 1% of N.D.B.I. of each parish and ask each bishop to make 1% for theological education a high priority of diocesan encouragement, education, and stewardship, so that by the 1994 General Convention all parishes of the Church are participating.

Proposed Committee Amendment:

In line 3, change the word "parish" to "congregation."

In line 5, change the word "parish" to "congregations."
