Resolved, That the Episcopal Church, at the national, provincial, diocesan, and local levels, seek diligently and intentionally to reduce the use of paper in the conduct of its business; and be it further

Resolved, That the Episcopal Church adopt as policy the practice of printing and photocopying on both sides of the paper it uses; and be it further

Resolved, That this resolution be communicated as a directive to all offices, commission, committees, the Episcopal News Service, and other agencies of the Church.

Whereas, The Episcopal Church has repeatedly expressed an abiding commitment to the environment as a matter of the responsible stewardship of God's creation; therefore be it

Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the Episcopal Church, at the national, provincial, diocesan, and local levels, seek diligently and intentionally to reduce the use of paper in the conduct of its business; and be it further

Resolved, That the Episcopal Church adopt as policy the practice of printing and photocopying on both sides of the paper it uses; and be it further

Resolved, That this resolution be communicated as a directive to all offices, commission, committees, the Episcopal News Service, and other agencies of the Church.

The Committee on Environment presented its Report #6 on Resolution D087 (Reduction of Paper Use) and moved that the resolution be adopted.
