Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That the Episcopal Migrant Ministry network continue to be developed with the support and encouragement of the wider church; and be it further
Resolved, That a resource center for this ministry be developed in conjunction with other denominations and secular agencies; and be it further
Resolved, That a survey be accomplished to determine the extent of diocesan and local church involvement in this ministry; and be it further
Resolved, That adequate funding be budgeted during the next Triennium to support this work; and be it further
Resolved, That the Standing Commission on the Church in Small Communities, with such other interim bodies as appropriate, present to the 1994 General Convention a resolution supporting these recommendations and ministry, such resolutions to raise up those dioceses that are presently engaged in these endeavors.
Proposed Committee Substitute:
Resolved, the House of Bishops concurring, That because the Episcopal Church supports and encourages the Episcopal Migrant Ministry Network, this Convention recommends that this ministry be further developed in conjunction with other denominations and secular agencies, and that the Standing Commission on the Church in Small Communities with such other Interim Bodies as appropriate report to the 72nd General Convention their actions with regard to the above.
